Glico vanilla ice cream snack: I've seen variants of this product before and have always been somewhat curious but not enough to purchase. This particular snack came in my latest #munchpak installment, which was a good excuse to try it. It consists of a wafer-like cone with an airy, yet oddly moist filling that resembles whipped butter in texture and texture. Trader Joe's pumpkin pie mochi flavored ice cream: 'Tis the season for an insane assortment of pumpkin flavored products at Trader Joe's, including pumpkin spiced pumpkin seeds. This TJ branded mochi ice cream is so similarly packaged to the Mikawaya brand they also carry that I wonder if it was a partnership. Christina's carrot cake ice cream: I'm generally a big fan of Christina's, but this recent scoop was a miss. While the spiced flavor was quite good, especially the whole raisins and walnuts, the texture was not smooth at all, and the aftertaste was somewhat chalky. 2.0/5.0

Salt & Straw lavender honey ice cream: Excellent smooth texture. Too often, honey ice cream is too sweet and lavender ice cream is too floral. This ice cream is neither and is very well balanced. Scoop is extremely generous. Maybe too generous as I'm only interested in a taste. 4.5/5.0

Morgenstern's ice cream: Cardamom lemon jam ice cream was excellent-beautifully spiced, tart lemon cubes added texture and interest. Green tea pistachio did not taste of green tea at all-instead, was a very solid pistachio ice cream. High quality pistachio nuts throughout. Also sampled the burnt honey, which was too sweet. 4.0/5.0

Ben and Jerry's S'mores ice cream: Chocolate ice cream with marshmallow, fudge chunks, and graham cracker 'swirls.' Chocolate masks any other flavor unfortunately, particularly with the added chocolate bits. Good quality chocolate ice cream, though 3.0/5.0
