Ichigaku Carrot juice with ginseng : This bottle of carrot juice retains much of the pulp of fresh carrots, giving it a slightly grainy texture. The juice has been slightly flavored with ginseng and lemon. I was hoping it would either be more sweet or more carrot-y; overall, it's not particularly good or bad. 3.0/5.0

It probably falls about 65% in terms of potency, which is to say above average, but not as gingery as I personally like (though I like very gingery drinks) - more spiced than spicy. I wouldn't have guessed that it contained carrot juice if I had not seen its color. Overall, for a four-serving container costing $5, it was pretty good, but not worth purchasing again. 3.0/5.0

But this quart of carrot juice caught my eye while walking through Trader Joe's, and I'm really glad I gave it a try. It's definitely sweet but has a super fresh and concentrated carrot flavor. The consistency is also thicker than I expected, so it feels substantial and filling to drink. Would definitely buy again. 4.0/5.0

Both flavors were very true to their roots, tasting more fresh than sweet. In particular, the carrot was especially concentrated, tasting of the initial crisp bite of a raw carrot. If I had to choose one, I would go back for the carrot, but the beet was still delicious though milder. Both scoops were not entirely smooth, so the texture co... (read more) 4.0/5.0

I purchased this glass bottle from Molinari deli in North Beach, SF (which I also recommend, by the way). While I found it on the sweet side, the addition of carrot was unique and not at all overpowering. The berry, vegetable, and citrus combination is well balanced and worth a try. 3.5/5.0

Designed to look exactly like cheese puffs, the carrot snacks have no cheese flavor, instead tasting vaguely sweet and distinctly vegetal. They are by no means a replacement for cheese puffs, as they lack the satisfying fat content and sharp flavor you might expect. It's hard to overcome this fact, yet I will give Pirate's Booty cre...
