Milkbar Cinnamon Toast Crunch Marshmallow Cookie: A sweet, indulgent, buttery cookie available at the Milk Bar flagship shop in Nomad. Childhood favorites Cinnamon Toast Crunch and marshmallows combine to form a chewy cookie, a bit hard on the edges (but maybe it didn't come directly from the oven). A nice nostalgic treat. 3.5/5.0

Ample Hills Creamery Lemon ginger sorbet and Snap, Mallow, Pop ice cream: Family friendly ice cream shop Ample Hills Creamery is probably as Brooklyn as an ice cream store can get. The flavors are completely made in-house, hand-drawn illustrations act as signage, and flavors like “gooey gooey butter cake” and “Nonna d’s oatmeal lace” hearken back to an extremely classic American childhood that I can only imagine those that had cookie jars in their kitchens may have experienced. Smash Strawberries & cream marshmallow treats: I founded out all the Smash marshmallow flavors with their Strawberries & Cream flavored marshmallow treats. The square bars are coated with sugar crystals and bits of freeze dried strawberries. It tastes like Berry Kix cereal, a flavor I haven’t had in over a decade yet was instantly recognizable. I would not recommend this snack - too sweet and artificial tasting. 2.5/5.0

Smash Mint chocolate chip marshmallow rice treat: The good thing about this snack is that it is not overly sweet and is fairly substantial for a rice crispie. It has small morsels of mint chocolate chips scattered throughout. However, when mint flavored foods are strong, they sometimes verge into artificial / medicinal / mouthwash territory, and this snack bar comes close. Texturally, it’s a bit tougher to bite into than other marshmallow treats. Overall, this one was just ok. 3.0/5.0
