I purchased a bag of Korean roasted seaweed, which I'm discovering comes in an alternative form of shredded, crispy seaweed mixed with sesame seeds (as opposed to sheets). Maruesun dried squid: I grew up eating shredded dried squid, but this is one of the first kind of I've had that is flat. To be honest, the main reason I purchased this product is because it was the least expensive at $3 a bag (about half the price of the alternatives at Hmart). Inside is bite-sized strips of squid, almost like eating beef jerky, and each strip is coated in what seems to be sugar. Tao Kae Noi kimchi flavored Super Crisp: This is the last of the Tao Kae Noi line of grilled seaweed snacks I had yet to try from my local Hmart. The umami-rich flavor has a great balance of savory and sweet. The spicy kimchi taste builds and lingers. A uniquely crispy and substantial seaweed snack. 3.5/5.0

I Mei Pudding Choco Roll: Individually wrapped chocolate covered wafer crisp filled with a soft pudding-flavored interior. Similar in some ways to a Twix without caramel and with a much flakier cookie element. Sweetness is spot on, with just 6g of sugar per piece. Pudding is pronounced but not overwhelming, filling melts in your mouth. An excellent sweet treat at a very reasonable price. Purchased from H Mart. 4.0/5.0

Organic Farm roasted chestnuts: I purchased two packs of roasted chestnuts from Hmart during a 2 for $3 sale. The last bag [https://instagram.com/p/7DXauqFIe7/] was unfavorably reviewed, mostly due to its slimy texture. This snacks veers in the opposite direction, with chestnuts that are on the dry side. Eaten with water, though, the chestnuts have superior flavor than the Haioreum bag, with a deeper, earthier flavor. Both bags list a single serving, but I found the bags really served at least 2. 2.5/5.0

Hanjin Korean Traditional Macaroni Pumpkin Snack: Sometimes I'll stumble upon a snack so bizarre that I need to try it. This is one example. First, the contents appeared to resemble beef jerky in texture, but as far as I can tell, it's a purely vegetarian snack. Next, the package advertises it as \"macaroni,\" which it looks nothing like. Lastly, featured on the bag is an Asian character with snot running from his nose as he enjoys the snack over a small waste bin. You can't write this!
