Kameda Soft Salad crackers: Slightly more savory that's Want Want Shelly Senbei crackers, but a decent neutral snack. I prefer rice crackers paired with sweet icing, though. 3.0/5.0

Sheng Xiang Zhen Green Tea Pumpkin Seeds: Tasty pumpkin seeds encased in a vivid, green coating. The aftertaste is herbal, but I'm not sure I'd guess green tea just from the flavor. Extremely messy to eat, but yummy nonetheless. 3.5/5.0

Lotte Choco Pie: Chocolate covered nostalgia. Unfortunately not as good as I recall from my childhood. Cake is quite dry, but the marshmallow filling is satisfying, and the chocolate is thin. I appreciate that it's lightly sweetened, with 10g of sugar in a pie (much less than you would find in an equivalent American snack). 3.0/5.0

Greenmax black sesame cereal: If you haven't had black sesame cereal before, it's a powdered mix drink popular in asian countries. This brand is from Taiwan. Mixed with hot water, it creates a thick drink (similar in consistency to hot chocolate), but typically much more nutritious. It is one of my favorite things to drink in cold weather. This brand is especially good because it's not too sweet, and the black sesame flavor is deep and comforting. 4.0/5.0

Hapi green tea pudding: Japanese pudding with a very traditional asian pudding texture (more gelatinous and set than American pudding). The green tea flavor is on the sweet side and conventionally artificial yet nostalgically satisfying. Pricy for the size (each cup costs slightly over a dollar from hmart). 3.0/5.0

Want Want cheese flavored rice crackers: In this bizarre East meets West snack, a cheese powder reminiscent of what you might find in boxed mac and cheese is paired with the crunchy, neutral base of an Asian rice cracker. The combination is odd yet intriguing. The cheese flavor is lighter and creamier than most cheese snacks but surely not any less artificial. The packaging is much nicer than most Want Want snacks-each packet contains two rice crackers in a frosted, plastic wrapper. 3.0/5.0
