Canasta Guava cookies: From Costa Rica, this packet contained four miniature shortbread cookies with a guava jam center. The shortbread was so-so, the jam interior sweet, tropical, and chewy. Not too much to say about these cookies, positive or negative. 2.5/5.0

Kind Banana Nut Clusters: Found this granola on sale at my local grocery store and picked it up after having generally good experiences with their bars. This bag is a low fat and sugar product, and you definitely taste it. I'm one for lighter snacks, but this granola verges on flavorless. The banana flavor is very faint, and some handfuls have a strong cinnamon taste, which I don't tend to associate with banana nut. Additionally, the clusters are dense, making them overly crunchy. L.A. Burdick white chocolate mouse: A few weeks ago, I found a box of assorted chocolates on my desk. I'm almost certain it was left by mistake, but I waited a few days for them to be claimed before digging in. The box contained many different types of chocolates, a few much better than others. Chiki Snack cheese balls: This is the first in a series of #munchpak snack reviews. Chiki balls are puffed corn and rice cheese balls from Indonesia. While the packaging is foreign, the flavor is all too familiar, with a styrofoam texture and ingredients like \"flavor enhancers\" and MSG. In some ways, I take comfort that perhaps anywhere you go in the world, you'll come across this junk food standard. But if you really think about it, it's a little depressing. 2.0/5.0

Goldfish flavor blasted xtra cheddar and pretzel: Airline food tends to be highly seasoned to make up for our decreased sensitivity to salt in pressurized and low humidity environments. On my last 6 hour flight, I found myself getting alarmingly hungry in the last hour. Giving in, I purchased the least expensive snack, a $2 bag of goldfish. Marusan sesame honey soymilk: Taste is reminiscent of black sesame porridge you can buy in powder packets. All three flavors are present (black sesame, honey, and soymilk) but fail to work together. Very sweet, strange flavor overall. Not recommended. 1.5/5.0
