I have tried all but the lime and mint flavor and green tea, both drinks I normally wouldn't choose to drink. Happy Lemon special cooler lemon slush: I'm not sure what special cooler means, but this Taiwanese drink chain continues to be one of my favorite places to visit when I'm in Flushing, Queens. This slush was on the sweet side but was also pleasantly tart and contained what seemed to be jelly bits (I didn't pay for any add-ins, so this was a pleasant surprise). Boba Guy's chai with almond jelly: I purchased this drink at 25% sweetness, which I think I would have enjoyed more at 50%. The house-made almond jelly has a great slippery texture, but the flavor is a bit lost with the drink (on their own, they are very good). The chai is light and nicely spiced. 4.0/5.0

Joia grapefruit, chamomile, and cardamom soda: A refreshing take on grapefruit soda that's nicely spiced and sweetened. Grapefruit flavor is prominent and concentrated. Fizz is substantial and lasting. 4.0/5.0

Kelvin Slush ginger and white peach slush: This Brooklyn-based company has a truck that makes its way around the city. You purchase a slush by first picking a base and then adding a fruit mix-in. At Smorgasburg, I selected ginger with white peach, and the combination was exceptionally good. They add the mix-in halfway through so the flavor is more distributed, and the texture of the organic slush is impressively smooth.
