TP Tea Mulberry slush: TP Tea is a tea shop chain from Taiwan. I’ve previously had it in Cupertino and in Tokyo, and now I can visit the small shop in the International District in Seattle. The mulberry tea is a unique fruit tea offering, with macerated berries that lend a jammy texture to the iced drink. It reminds me of the great fruit teas I used to be able to get at Asha Tea in the Bay Area. Definitely recommend getting this if you’re in the mood for something other than milk tea! The dragon fruit has a refreshingly tart flavor, like berries and kiwi combined, and the slight savor ones of the cream gives it a great balance, like salted whipped cream. One of my favorite fruit slush drinks of recent memory. 4.5/5.0

Do not recommend this particular drink at the normally solid Happy Lemon. 2.5/5.0

Mr Boba is a small, humble shop with an expansive menu of slush, milk tea, and coffee options. I purchase a mystery mixed grain slush with boba, the ingredients of which the employee didn’t even know. In the end, it tasted like the powdered cereal packs you can get at asian grocery stores that you mix with hot water to give you a loose porridge consistency. You can commonly find them with a mix of ground barley and black sesame. As a s... (read more) 3.0/5.0
