bevi sparkling water: In my lab's recent leanbox takeover, we've acquired a carbonated beverage machine that has several options for flavored water. I have tried all but the lime and mint flavor and green tea, both drinks I normally wouldn't choose to drink. There are a "bevy" of other options to chose from anyway (well, 3), with two flavor strength options. This review also only covers the sparkling water, as I'm uninterested in the still option. The sparkling water on its own has a slightly mineral taste but is nonetheless satisfying, especially as it's free. In terms of fizziness, at first dispense, it's fairly substantial, with mostly large bubbles. (In my eyes, Pellegrino < Perrier < Polar < bevi in terms of carbonation strength). The carbonation does subside after around 10 minutes. I far prefer the flavoring at the higher setting - otherwise, it's very weak. The lemon and raspberry are both unsweetened and good, though I found myself mostly filling up on plain sparkling water. Like a kid at a soda fountain, I also tried combinations of the flavors - half and half raspberry and lemon was not bad. Overall, I'm happy to welcome bevi to the Media Lab and have been finding myself refilling multiple times a day, a welcome break from the computer. 3.0/5.0
