Icee popping candy: People who know me know I'm not into movies. But the one thing I did love about movies as a kid was having an excuse to get an Icee, the horrendously sweet, artificially flavored slushie that turned your mouth blue. Jean-Philippe Patisserie Raspberry Tart: This multi-layered tart has a shortbread base, raspberry "jam," pistachio cream, almond nougatine, and fresh raspberries, topped with tubular shavings of white chocolate. At $8, it comes at a Vegas price tag, but it's easily sharable. Its best attribute is the mix of textures, from the almond crisp to the soft nougat. The raspberries were also remarkably fresh. A bit sweet for my taste, but the layer of raspberry jam does add some tartness. 3.5/5.0

Lu Raspberry Paille d’Or biscuits: It’s rare for me to come across a snack that bears little resemblance to anything I’ve eaten before, but this raspberry flavored “cookies” fall into that category. Literally translated as “golden straws” the cookies come from Lu, a popular French biscuit brand. Montebourg Petit Suisse Strawberry, Apricot, and Raspberry fruit flavored cheese: Was surprised to find this yogurt packaging in the cheese aisle at Whole Foods only to discover that it is, in fact, cheese. Petit Suisse is a mild and creamy cheese with an almost aerated texture, like a cross between whipped cream and yogurt. From France, these kid-sized packages, with their friendly cartoon characters, come in a combo pack with 2 apricot, 2 strawberry, and 2 raspberry.
