Cones cantaloupe gelato: Cones is a small ice cream shop on Bleeker St. in the West Village specializing in house-made flavors both classic and unique. The cantaloupe sorbet was superb, with a particularly concentrated melon flavor that still felt light and refreshing. Had small bits of fresh fruit. Perfect amount of sugar. Morgenstern's ice cream: Cardamom lemon jam ice cream was excellent-beautifully spiced, tart lemon cubes added texture and interest. Green tea pistachio did not taste of green tea at all-instead, was a very solid pistachio ice cream. High quality pistachio nuts throughout. Also sampled the burnt honey, which was too sweet. 4.0/5.0

ChikaLicious petits fours: Perfectly executed bites. Incredibly light and fluffy marshmallow that melts almost instantly, chocolate covered in toasted coconut whose flavor develops over time, and shortbread biscuit topped with an airy cream and candied pistachio. Chikalicious green apple sorbet: Exceptionally refreshing and remarkably smooth sorbet speckled with bits of green apple. Clean flavor that's perfectly sweetened. A bit pricy for the size, but well worth it. 4.5/5.0
