Hyosung Food roasted seaweed: A recent conversation with @sharingnicely about kelp inspired me to buy a seaweed product on my latest trip to Hmart. I purchased a bag of Korean roasted seaweed, which I'm discovering comes in an alternative form of shredded, crispy seaweed mixed with sesame seeds (as opposed to sheets). I typically add this seaweed to rice to eat alongside a savory dish (the form of the snack doesn't lead itself to be eaten by hand). It's quite sweet on its own. Jinga rice wine cake: Korean rice flour "cake" that had a glutinous yet spongy texture. Traditionally called jeungpyeon, it is similar in flavor to sake-steamed glutinous rice desserts you might have in Taiwan. Unfortunately, this version is dry and difficult to eat, and the flavor is one dimensional. 1.5/5.0

Korean Plaza Market Lotus paste pastries : These baked goods from Koreans Plaza Market have a buttery, soft exterior similar to moon cakes and a generous amount of white lotus paste inside. The filling has a starchy consistency, almost like biting into a softened Japanese sweet potato. Miniature size makes them good for snacking. 3.0/5.0
