Berkeley Bowl Organic Gravenstein Apple Sauce: During the weeks leading up to thanksgiving, these jars of apple sauce were prominently displayed at the entrance of Berkeley Bowl. The apple sauce is sweet and textured with a nice amount of autumn spices. My one of the best apple sauces I've had, but a good value. 3.0/5.0

Asha Tea Grape Oolong tea with grass jelly: For whatever reason, this fruit tea is a $0.25 less than many of the other fruit teas on Asha's menu. It has a milder flavor than the Asian Pear oolong, with bits of grape skin at the bottom to remind you that you are, in fact, having a grape-flavored drink. This helps because the fruit flavor, while light and refreshing, is difficult to pin down. Their homemade grass jelly has a slippery soft texture that easily compliments the tea. 3.0/5.0

Full Tilt Ice Cream Mango Strawberry Sorbet: Part ice cream shop, part arcade, Full Tilt is a chain of family friendly shops located in various parts of Seattle. Along with their colorful assortment of flavors is their equally colorful staff (many heavily pierced and tattooed, at least at the time of my visit to the Ballard location). The texture of the mango strawberry sorbet I purchased could have been smoother, but the flavor combination was unique, although a bit sweet. I'm hopeful that they're able to maintain a sanitary environ... (read more) 3.0/5.0

Wallaby Organic Orange passion fruit yogurt: This citrus yogurt from Wallaby is one of the better flavors I’ve had from this American brand pretending to be an Australian brand. Australian style is essentially looser than most other yogurt, almost verging on kefir. Orange and passion fruit are not commonly seen together but maybe it should be. 3.0/5.0

Kind Pomegranate Blueberry Pistachhio bar: Kind bars have a consistent quality - once you’ve had one, you know what you’re getting yourself into. Here, we have a mix of crunchy whole pistachio and almonds with dried fruit, all bonded together with a sticky glaze and several types of grains for texture. It was a bit hard to bite into (more crunchy than chewy), which made me a little nervous for my teeth. Overall, decent but doesn’t quite pass the threshold for recommended. 3.0/5.0

Nature’s Path Fruit juice corn flakes: Fruit juice-enhanced corn flakes was completely unknown to me until I purchased this box from Nature’s Path. They taste like normal corn flakes at first (though thicker and thus less crispy than something like Kellogg’s Corn Flakes) but have a faintly sweet aftertaste that isn’t necessarily identifiable as pear (the juice used in this product) but has a vague almost apple like taste. It’s not a flavor I particularly enjoyed nor disliked and as a result can’t imagine purchasing again. 3.0/5.0
