Whether it's true or not I cannot say, but the brand has permeated American supermarkets, with chains like Trader Joe's as stockists. It also seems to be the de facto choice for restaurants selling Mochi ice cream they don't make themselves. Luckily, the ice cream is very good. Choripdong Digestive Cream Sand Biscuit: Individually wrapped Korean sandwich cookies with a mildly sweet, crumbly biscuit flavored with sesame seeds and a light cream filling. I like how it's not crunchy and thick like many digestives, and the snack overall feels mostly healthful although it's a dessert. 3.5/5.0

Annie's sour cream and onion bunnies: I generally like the Annie's line of crackers, but I was disappointed by this particular flavor, which lacked the zing of your typical sour cream and onion snack. The onion was barely discernible. The crackers themselves, though, were neutral tasting and buttery. 2.5/5.0

Maeda-En black sesame ice cream: Barely sweetened ice cream with a distinctly savory black sesame flavor. Very creamy and rich. Smooth texture. 3.0/5.0

Drop the Mic Ice Cream: Continuing from the previous review, the second set consisted of the green apple sorbet, black truffle ice cream, and purple potato ice cream. My favorite was the green apple sorbet, which had always been fantastic (a tip: you can go across the street and order it any time at the dessert club). Drop the Mic Ice Cream: Chikalicious is my favorite dessert bar, and I highly recommend it if you haven't been before.
