Enjoy Life Dill & Sour Cream Plentils Lentil Chips: This bag of alternative chips has an impressive amount of flavor yet has 40% less fat than potato chips. Dill adds an zing that's missing from other sour cream and onion snacks, and texturally, the crispy chips are like little pockets of air, lighter and more satisfying than crackers like Wheat Thins. Open Nature Sweet Onion and Sour Cream Pita Chips: Made of all natural ingredients, these pita chips have a satisfying crunch (though they are messy to eat) and taste much sweeter than your typical sour cream and onion flavored snack. Reminiscent of a caramelized onions. Filling and generally satisfying. 3.0/5.0

Neighborhood Restaurant Cream of Wheat: This hot, iconic dish from the popular Somerville brunch spot is great even in the summer heat. When I first had it five years ago upon returning to Boston for grad school, it turned me on to making Cream of Wheat at home, though I could never quite get the consistency and flavor that they are able to accomplish. It's creamy and spiced with a texture almost similar to tapioca pudding but with much smaller granules. I will forever associate this dish with Cambridge and will sorely miss it. 4.0/5.0

Christina's Chai Ice Cream: Still my favorite place to get ice cream in Cambridge, Christina's seasonal chai-flavored ice cream is the perfect blend of spice, cream, and sweetness. Weis strawberry, watermelon, and lychee ice cream bar: One of several snacks I received on my Virgin Australia flight, this frozen treat had a unique combination of fruits along with a vanilla base. I found the fruit component to have a remarkably clean flavor, where all three fruits are easily identifiable. The ice cream base was so-so: more icy than creamy.
