Pocky Cookies and Cream: Creamy coating with bits of chocolate cookie. Cookie bits add texture. Coating had a waxy feel. Flavor overall is reminiscent of Hershey's cookies and cream bars. Sweeter than most Japanese snacks, but not as sweet as American candy. Decent. 3.0/5.0

Open Nature Sweet Onion and Sour Cream Pita Chips: Made of all natural ingredients, these pita chips have a satisfying crunch (though they are messy to eat) and taste much sweeter than your typical sour cream and onion flavored snack. Reminiscent of a caramelized onions. Filling and generally satisfying. 3.0/5.0

Trader Joe's sour cream and onion corn puffs: Has a hint of junk-food sour cream & onion taste without all the guilt typically associated with fried snacks of the same flavor. Texture is not the greatest, at an awkward place far from crunchy yet too dense to dissolve gracefully. A great value at $1.99 for a huge bag, though. 3.0/5.0

Trader Joe's pumpkin pie mochi flavored ice cream: 'Tis the season for an insane assortment of pumpkin flavored products at Trader Joe's, including pumpkin spiced pumpkin seeds. This TJ branded mochi ice cream is so similarly packaged to the Mikawaya brand they also carry that I wonder if it was a partnership. Weis strawberry, watermelon, and lychee ice cream bar: One of several snacks I received on my Virgin Australia flight, this frozen treat had a unique combination of fruits along with a vanilla base. I found the fruit component to have a remarkably clean flavor, where all three fruits are easily identifiable. The ice cream base was so-so: more icy than creamy.
