Brooklyn Soda Works lemon and thyme soda: About five years ago, I had a fantastic bottled apple ginger soda from Brooklyn Soda Works at a restaurant in NYC. Momofuku Milk Bar strawberry lemon cake truffles: Purchased in packs of three, these truffles have a cake-like candy coating and dense lemon interior. The strawberry crumble was too sweet, while the lemon truffle was tart. Overall, the flavors did not quite come together. 2.0/5.0

&pizza berry ginger lemonade: I was excited about all the craft soda options available at the fast-casual pizza chain &. Unfortunately, all six I sampled from their fountain machine were overly sweet. This berry lemonade had just a bit of spiciness from the ginger but tasted mostly like berry juice. 2.0/5.0

Tao Kae Noi Sriracha chili sauce flavored crispy seaweed: While the packaging features a mascot that can't take the heat, I was surprised to find this snack lacked any punch. I don't have a high spice tolerance, yet I wouldn't characterize this snack as spicy at all. If I didn't know it was supposed to taste like Sriracha, I would have guessed a sweet chili flavor rather than a spicy one. The seaweed also was not very crispy compared to other times I've had this snack. I'm not sure if I got a dud, but this product was disappointing overall. 2.0/5.0

Sour!tails blue raspberry sour candy: More sweet than sour, this pink and blue striped gummy candy has a paste-like interior that reminds me a bit of bubblegum and is flavored similarly to what I associate with brands like Hubba Bubba or Bubble Yum. It's like a Cow Tail with its chewy exterior and icing-like interior. Eating it took me back to grade school goody bags in a nostalgic but not particularly fond way. 27g of sugar in the "tail." 2.0/5.0

Smak Po Brzegi Goralki Mleczne (wafer with cream filling): About twice as thick as a kit kat, this wafer bar is sealed around its border with a thin layer of milk chocolate. In between the styrofoam-like layers is a whole-milk cream. The milk flavor is more prominent than the chocolate, which makes it somewhat distinctive, but nonetheless not notably desirable. 2.0/5.0
