Corn Potage Umaibo: I received this Japanese snack in my latest #munchpak and found the Doraemon-like character and nonchalant boiling corn intriguing. Inside the packaging is a thick, cylindrical tube of puffed corn dusted with a savory coating not unlike that which you might find on sour cream and onion chips. Crown Peanut Log: This exceptionally substantial candy bar comes from Georgia, where peanut logs are apparently a tradition. Having never heard of them before, I was surprised to find a white nougat interior hidden by a generous coating of roasted peanuts. The nougat melts in your mouth as only highly fatty snacks can do. Three Sister Cinnamon Sweets: Bears an uncanny resemblance to Cinnamon Toast Crunch (which I'm sure is their intention). This bagged cereal brand is one of the most economical options from Whole Foods. Maintains good level of crunch in milk, but is overly sweet and leaves a mound of sugar and cinnamon at the bottom of the bowl. 2.5/5.0

Trader Joe's reduced fat cheese puffs: Usually when a brand had a reduced fat version of a snack, there is a full-fat option too. Not so with this bag of Trader Joe's cheese puffs, as far as I know. Less cheese coating than an alternative like Cheetos, but a decent amount of flavor. A solid but messy snack. 3.0/5.0

CW mini sesame snack: Basic sesame flavored biscuit that's more sweet than savory, but remains fairly neutral nonetheless. I purchased an alternative version of this snack in the past that comes in a plastic container and has a long stick form factor (similar to Pocky). I recommend that version over this one for its convenient packaging, though they taste exactly the same. 3.0/5.0

Glico Yurbai Melon Pocky: This special Pocky flavor features the Yurbai Melon, a cantaloupe grown in Hokkaido, Japan. The snack comes as a Giant Pocky, at around 7" in length, and has a vivid orange-sherbet-colored coating with a sweet, concentrated cantaloupe flavor. According to the ingredients, the flavoring comes from melon juice powder.
