Kashi Dark Mocha Almond Chewy Granola Bars: Leaning towards the crunchier side of the chewy granola bar spectrum, Kashi's whole grain granola bars contain barley, rye, and oats, as well as roasted almonds and sizable dark chocolate chips. Very lightly sweetened with a mild mocha flavor. I was hoping it would be more filling, but the bar alone would not be enough for the afternoon, and having two granola bars just feels like too much. Pocky Strawberry Cream Covered Biscuit Sticks: In a special (what I presume to be) Valentine's Day edition, Pocky tweaks its round biscuit shape to produce a heart-shaped cross section. The heart is most visible on the biscuit end, though it looks more like a 45-degree bracket than a heart. On the strawberry-coating end, the heart is nearly impossible to make out. Mai's Bakery Banh Tu Quy: An assortment of generously-sized glutinous-rice-flour-based desserts purchased from Saigon Sandwich in the Tenderloin, SF. More gelatinous and firm than typical mochi desserts, it has a consistency somewhere between mochi and jello. All four in this combo pack had a mild mung bean or taro filling, two were coated in shaved coconut, and the black had an herbal jelly flavor. Clif Bar Peanut and Toffee Buzz: Peanut and toffee: not a very common flavor combination, but I think it should be after trying this Clif Bar. More than other snacks, Clif bars seem to be the most effective at keeping hunger at bay. This particular flavor goes one step further by including caffeine to help you through a mid-day slump. HR Poppin' Snacks Cheddar Inferno Popcorn: Looks are deceiving with this bag of cheddar popcorn - its standard orange color belies its spicy flavor, brought out by cayenne, chili, and jalapeño powder. A nice amount of heat, though the popcorn isn't as light and airy as it could be. Has a very long ingredient list filled with artificial colorings. This bag magically appeared at work, so I'm not sure where one would go to purchase it, but it's not bad for what it is. 3.0/5.0

Dandies Vanilla Marshmallows: Vegan marshmallows. Much more resilient than Jetpuffs, with a chewy but firmer texture. Stronger vanilla flavor as well, but tastes overwhelmingly sweet. Irregularly shaped- some are as big as jumbo-sized marshmallows, while others are like two stacked mini-marshmallows combined. At $5 a bag, they aren't worth the price. 2.5/5.0
