Hapi Snacks Ramen Crunch: Wavy ridged crisps that have an aroma somewhere between the mysterious "oriental" flavored ramen seasoning packet and fish food. Contains a liberal amount of anchovy powder and MSG (in fact, MSG appears twice on the ingredients list for some reason). Texture-wise, it's not as crispy as a potato chip, but its thin profile makes it less hearty than a cracker. It's not as dense as ramen-flavored snacks that actually consist of dried ramen noodles. Flavor-wise, though, Hapi is going for a si... (read more) 2.5/5.0

Kettle Brand Korean Barbecue Korean Chips: These chips really do taste like Korean barbecue (galbi to be specific), with a sweet, garlicky smoked flavor (and, of course, soy). Kettle is keeping their recipe well guarded, as the ingredients lists all the spices you would expect in regular bbq chips (garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and tomato powder), but classifies everything else under "natural flavors." Kite Hill Peach Almond Milk Yogurt: Familiar peach flavor is given a unique twist with sweet, nutty flavor of almond milk. Thinner consistency is to be expected from a dairy-free yogurt, but it's special enough to give it a try even if dairy-free is not a strict diet requirement. 3.5/5.0

Asha Tea Blood Orange Oolong Tea: Blood Orange (one of my favorite citrus) + oolong (one of my favorite teas) somehow, in combination, doesn't reach the heights I was hoping for. The orange is faint, and the pulp is not as substantial as other fruit teas I've had from this establishment. It's not bad, but I wouldn't get it again. 3.0/5.0

Organics Organic Kettle Corn Popcorn: Decent take on kettle corn, but nothing to write home about. More sweet than salty. Lots of shells that are bound to meet your dentist's disapproval. 2.5/5.0

Chun Guang Coconut Candy: A consultation prize after a bad Thai meal, this complimentary milky-white coconut-flavored hard candy has a mellow, creamy taste. More nutty than most coconut treats, sweet but not overpoweringly so. One of the best candies I've had in recent memory. 4.0/5.0
