Dinosaurs Watermelon and Lychee Shake: Dinosaurs is a small Vietnamese sandwich shop bordering the Castro in San Francisco. It has reasonably priced, tasty sandwiches (I especially recommend the meatball bahn mi) as well as fresh juices. The Nobel Times Super Cola candy: While the packaging says "Since 2014," I have vivid memories of eating the lemon version of this sweet as a child. (The date is likely a result of an acquisition.) Inside are individually wrapped cola-flavored hard candies. 365 Ranch Lentil Chips: While ranch snacks tend to be unhealthy, these 365 lentil crisps have the same satisfyingly tangy flavor with less fat and calories. The crisps are more like sticks, falling somewhere in the middle of the pretzel -> puffed snack spectrum. They have a light crunch and are dense enough to be filling. Montebourg Petit Suisse Strawberry, Apricot, and Raspberry fruit flavored cheese: Was surprised to find this yogurt packaging in the cheese aisle at Whole Foods only to discover that it is, in fact, cheese. Petit Suisse is a mild and creamy cheese with an almost aerated texture, like a cross between whipped cream and yogurt. From France, these kid-sized packages, with their friendly cartoon characters, come in a combo pack with 2 apricot, 2 strawberry, and 2 raspberry.
