Dinosaurs Watermelon and Lychee Shake: Dinosaurs is a small Vietnamese sandwich shop bordering the Castro in San Francisco. It has reasonably priced, tasty sandwiches (I especially recommend the meatball bahn mi) as well as fresh juices. I love watermelon, and I also love lychee, so their watermelon and lychee shake was an obvious choice for me. Rather than being flavored like lychee, the lychee comes in the form of chewy and slightly crunchy lychee jelly - the same rectangular kind you find in boba tea shops. The watermelon shake had a consistent slushy texture, though the juice was not evenly distributed so that when the juice runs out, I was left with a mound of clear slush. Still, I welcomed this refreshing sweet drink on a hot summers day. 3.5/5.0
