Lotte Kancho Choco Biscuit: Like Koala March or Hello Panda, Kancho Choc Biscuits are bite-sized biscuits with a mostly solid chocolate filling. Unlike Koala March or Hello Panda, the snacks are identically shaped, like little pebbles; cartoon characters are printed on the surface. The wheat-based cookies have a softer, more crumbly texture than their animal-shaped competitors. Lacks the cute-factor of the koalas or pandas and does not taste particularly good. 2.5/5.0

Sweetgreens Iced Chai: Up to this point, I had been resistant to the ~$15 salads at Sweetgreens, but after returning to Berkeley after traveling, I often crave fresh fruit and vegetables. I caved in and stopped by Sweetgreens for a salad (which was actually filling and quite tasty) and purchased a cup of iced chai to accompany my greens. Full Tilt Ice Cream Mango Strawberry Sorbet: Part ice cream shop, part arcade, Full Tilt is a chain of family friendly shops located in various parts of Seattle. Along with their colorful assortment of flavors is their equally colorful staff (many heavily pierced and tattooed, at least at the time of my visit to the Ballard location). The texture of the mango strawberry sorbet I purchased could have been smoother, but the flavor combination was unique, although a bit sweet. Morgenstern's Mixed berry sorbet: Mixed berry sorbet that seems like it was crafted just for my tastes: barely sweetened, very tart, and perfectly smooth, with a dollop of cream, all topped with a sprinkling of crumble for texture. Clean raspberry and blueberry flavor. A rare snack I can find no fault with. Part of Morgensterns monthly sorbae flavor rotation. Available for the month of July. 5.0/5.0
