Way Better Snacks Sweet Chili Whole Grain Corn Tortilla Chips: I got these chips with my lunch and was pleasantly surprised by how good they were. They have a kind of sriracha flavor that is mildly sweet and whose heat builds up over time, and the chips have a satisfying crispy texture that feels healthy yet flavorful. The chips contain flax, quinoa, chia seeds, broccoli, and radish seeds. I don't really like plain tortilla chips because I never buy dips - these are multigrain chips that stand on their own! 4.0/5.0

Calpico White peach drink: As a kid, I used to drink Calpico when visiting family in Taiwan. A Japanese “soft drink,” Calpico has a milky-white color but is much thinner in consistency. I remember it being very sweet but probably haven’t had it in over a decade until I came across this white peach flavor. My memory ended up being pretty accurate, though, as the drink was far too sweet and tasted like liquid peach gummies. Morgenstern's American Egg, Toast, and Peaches 'n Clotted Cream Ice Cream: Went back to Morgenstern's to try a few more of the flavors exclusive to their new 88 Houston location. The American egg is one of the few ice cream flavors on the Morgenstern's menu made with actual eggs (they are a largely egg-less ice cream shop, unlike most ice cream makers), and the flavor is meant to taste more like an egg custard than a savory egg dish. Annie’s Organic friends bunny grahams: When I first moved to Berkeley a few years ago, I was surprised to bike past the Annie’s corporate offices near 4th Street - I hadn’t previously known it was headquartered there. Berkeley is historically known for hippies, but now it’s too expensive for hippies to live there. Nonetheless, Annie’s seems to be riffing off that vibe with their psychedelic Bunny Graham friends mix containing all major flavors of their graham crackers. Deep River Snacks Mesquite bbq chips: The mesquite bbq is definitely on the sweet side, but these chips also has a distinct smoky flavor. Because they’re kettle cooked, they have a satisfying texture slightly more crunchy than crispy. Overall, I liked them and would purchase again! 3.5/5.0
