Nong Shim Banana Kick Snack: Who would have thought that banana flavored puffs, airy and porous with a slight glaze and crispy texture, would be such a delicious snack? I'll admit that I purchased this bag from the narrow, never-ending aisles of Manhattan's HMart solely based on its cute packaging. Oorifood Premium Garlic Snack: Since moving to the Bay Area, I've been impressed with how well American grocery stores stock Asian snacks in their ethnic food aisles. Organic Farm roasted chestnuts: I purchased two packs of roasted chestnuts from Hmart during a 2 for $3 sale. The last bag [https://instagram.com/p/7DXauqFIe7/] was unfavorably reviewed, mostly due to its slimy texture. This snacks veers in the opposite direction, with chestnuts that are on the dry side. Eaten with water, though, the chestnuts have superior flavor than the Haioreum bag, with a deeper, earthier flavor. Both bags list a single serving, but I found the bags really served at least 2. 2.5/5.0

Ossem Bissli pizza wheat snack: Israeli snack with window-shaped brick crackers reminiscent of whole wheat pasta in flavor. Pizza seasoning is very faint. Crunchy, dense texture. Not very desirable. 2.0/5.0

Paldo Soo Jeong Gwa: A canned version of a traditional Korean punch called sujeonggwa, typically made with dried persimmons, spiced with cinnamon and ginger, and garnished with pine nuts. The can is smaller than normal at 8 oz, which is good since it's sweet enough that you wouldn't necessarily want to drink more. Pretty refreshing, but in small quantities.
