Boba Guys Jasmine Milk Tea: I was pleasantly surprised with how solid this bottled Boba Guy’s jasmine milk tea was. Creamy and rich milk tea with a distinct floral jasmine flavor. Sweeter than I would order on my own, but a good drink nonetheless. 3.5/5.0

iTea wintermelon milk tea with grass jelly: I ordered this drink out of curiosity, but the wintermelon didn’t have too much of a distinct flavor compared to regular black milk tea. The herbal grass jelly was very good as always, though Purchased at I-Tea in Kearny in SF. 3.0/5.0

Happy Lemon Milk tea with pudding: An all around solid milk tea. Well balanced, and the textures of the pudding is good too. Happy to have Happy Lemon close to home. 3.5/5.0

OO Tea Jasmine milk tea with boba: OO Tea is a Taiwanese import of the brand “Wushiland.” As far as I know, there are only two locations in the US: one in a San Gabriel strip mall in LA and another in a Ranch 99 in San Diego. I went to the latter, which was an unassuming bubble tea stand without any seating; my order was taken in Mandarin, not English. Wushiland uses organic milk for their milk teas and it shows. Ripple Unsweetened original pea milk: I decided to try this plant-based milk after months of seeing it in the dairy-free section of the milk aisle. I’m not lactose intolerant but enjoy alternatives like soy milk and almond milk. This pea milk doesn’t taste like any milk I’ve had before. Bubble Tease Milk tea with boba: Toronto has some of the highest concentration of bubble tea shops that I’ve witnessed. This classic black milk tea from Bubble Tease had a decent sweet and slightly herbal flavor. The boba was ok - a bit too soft and without flavor. 3.0/5.0
