Heaven & Earth Carrot Ginger Juice: While this juice has a bright orange color, the dominant flavor is ginger. It probably falls about 65% in terms of potency, which is to say above average, but not as gingery as I personally like (though I like very gingery drinks) - more spiced than spicy. I wouldn't have guessed that it contained carrot juice if I had not seen its color. Overall, for a four-serving container costing $5, it was pretty good, but not worth purchasing again. 3.0/5.0

Trader Joe's Organic Carrot Juice: I prefer fresh fruit over fruit juice, so I never find myself in the juice aisle. But this quart of carrot juice caught my eye while walking through Trader Joe's, and I'm really glad I gave it a try. It's definitely sweet but has a super fresh and concentrated carrot flavor. The consistency is also thicker than I expected, so it feels substantial and filling to drink. Would definitely buy again. 4.0/5.0

Num Pang Watermelon Juice: A pure, unadulterated cup of sweet and refreshing watermelon juice. Good if you aren't willing to buy a whole watermelon just for yourself. 3.0/5.0

Monterey Market Fresh-squeezed blood orange juice: I’ve always been curious about the fresh squeezed juice at Monterey Market in Berkeley and decided to take advantage of potentially my last opportunity to try it. Unsurprisingly, the blood orange juice has a wonderfully refreshing sweet citrus flavor. Most of the pulp has been taken out, but it has just enough to remind you of just how fresh it is. A bit pricy, at $5 for a 32oz container, but you definitely get what you pay for! 4.0/5.0

Pressed Juicery Apple lemon ginger cayenne pressed juice: Up to this time in my life, I have completely avoided the pressed juice craze, opting for fruit in the flesh. In fact, more generally, I haven’t bought a carton of juice from the grocery store in years. This particular bottle from Pressed Juicery was a freebie, given to patrons of the Nordstrom pop up on Melrose in LA. I was surprised by its potency, with an impressively spicy ginger and cayenne kick that will almost certainly catch most off-guard. The apple and lemon flavor was also clean t... (read more) 3.5/5.0

Nature’s Path Fruit juice corn flakes: Fruit juice-enhanced corn flakes was completely unknown to me until I purchased this box from Nature’s Path. They taste like normal corn flakes at first (though thicker and thus less crispy than something like Kellogg’s Corn Flakes) but have a faintly sweet aftertaste that isn’t necessarily identifiable as pear (the juice used in this product) but has a vague almost apple like taste. It’s not a flavor I particularly enjoyed nor disliked and as a result can’t imagine purchasing again. 3.0/5.0
