Full Tilt Ice Cream Mango Strawberry Sorbet: Part ice cream shop, part arcade, Full Tilt is a chain of family friendly shops located in various parts of Seattle. Along with their colorful assortment of flavors is their equally colorful staff (many heavily pierced and tattooed, at least at the time of my visit to the Ballard location). Garden Creamery Black sesame and oolong ice cream: By now, I've become wary of long lines in San Francisco, and there is nowhere else where this sense of trepidation is stronger than in the Mission, the tech-saturated, ultra-entitled west coast version of Williamsburg. Gelati Celesti salted caramel gelato: I received a single-serving container of this gelato on my flight on Virgin Australia, though the brand is based in Richmond, VA. The ice cream itself had a great smooth texture and while it was sweet, the sea salt was prominent and helped balance the dessert. 3.5/5.0

Glico vanilla ice cream snack: I've seen variants of this product before and have always been somewhat curious but not enough to purchase. This particular snack came in my latest #munchpak installment, which was a good excuse to try it. It consists of a wafer-like cone with an airy, yet oddly moist filling that resembles whipped butter in texture and texture. Glico 牧場しぼり Affogato Ice Cream: These little ice cream cups, about the standard size of paper-cup ice cream snacks you'd get as a kid in the states, come sealed in plastic packaging. The affogato flavor consisted of milk ice cream surrounded along the perimeter and at the base with an espresso-flavored ice, whose consistency was somewhere between shaved ice and bruleed sugar. Overall, it was decently enjoyable, in the way that normal store-bought ice cream has a familiar but comforting taste. 3.0/5.0
