Galvanina Blood orange, black carrot, and blueberry sparkling fruit beverage: Organic Italian soda that apparently is sold as Whole Foods branded Italian soda. I purchased this glass bottle from Molinari deli in North Beach, SF (which I also recommend, by the way). While I found it on the sweet side, the addition of carrot was unique and not at all overpowering. The berry, vegetable, and citrus combination is well balanced and worth a try. 3.5/5.0

Bruce Cost Passion Fruit ginger soda: Brooklyn-based Bruce Cost offers some of the better ginger sodas more widely available (at Whole Foods, for example). Their passion fruit soda is unique, providing a sharp tropical flavor combination. Like others in their line, the Soda has ginger sediments on the bottom that give texture and spice. 3.5/5.0

Montebourg Petit Suisse Strawberry, Apricot, and Raspberry fruit flavored cheese: Was surprised to find this yogurt packaging in the cheese aisle at Whole Foods only to discover that it is, in fact, cheese. Petit Suisse is a mild and creamy cheese with an almost aerated texture, like a cross between whipped cream and yogurt. From France, these kid-sized packages, with their friendly cartoon characters, come in a combo pack with 2 apricot, 2 strawberry, and 2 raspberry. Asha Tea Pineapple oolong tea: Another solid take on fruit tea, Asha's pineapple oolong features pureed Hawaiian pineapples that add tanginess to their robust and refreshing iced herbal tea. Both flavors are represented faithfully and unambiguously. Easy to recommend. 4.0/5.0

Full Tilt Ice Cream Mango Strawberry Sorbet: Part ice cream shop, part arcade, Full Tilt is a chain of family friendly shops located in various parts of Seattle. Along with their colorful assortment of flavors is their equally colorful staff (many heavily pierced and tattooed, at least at the time of my visit to the Ballard location). The texture of the mango strawberry sorbet I purchased could have been smoother, but the flavor combination was unique, although a bit sweet. Bob's Red Mill Fruit & Seed Muesli: I am a recent museli convert, enjoying their versatility to be transformed into a warm bowl of cereal or chilled overnight oats. This particular "European Style" flavor has dried fruit (raisins, cranberries, cherries), sunflower and pumpkin seeds, almonds, and coconut flakes, along with several types of grains and oats. A single bag has two weeks worth of servings. A healthy and tasty breakfast option. 3.5/5.0
