Clover strawberries and cream: While these strawberries are likely very fresh, they aren't particularly good and lack sweetness. The dessert comes with dipping sugar, but the best fruit would never need this. Cream is poured over the top, but the strawberries don't quite absorb this flavor, and most ends up at the bottom of the container. 2.0/5.0

Full Tilt Ice Cream Mango Strawberry Sorbet: Part ice cream shop, part arcade, Full Tilt is a chain of family friendly shops located in various parts of Seattle. Along with their colorful assortment of flavors is their equally colorful staff (many heavily pierced and tattooed, at least at the time of my visit to the Ballard location). Furano Melon caramel: These melon-flavored chewy candies are from Hokkaido, purchased by way of Jmart in Flushing. I love the packaging, which somehow managed to combine the rainbow lavender fields of Hokkaido with wine, a ball of yarn, and a stormcloud. Inside the box is individually wrapped Starburst-sized candies the pastel-orange color of cantaloupe. They have a concentrated melon flavor that I really enjoyed.
