Tartine Manufactory Pepperoni Biscuit: Buttery and savory, this crumbly biscuit has small dices of pepperoni throughout that add just enough seasoning. Required braving the notorious lines at this out-of-the-way warehouse that is the home to the newest Tartine establishment. Nonetheless, given the quality of this biscuit, I would come back again to sample more. 3.5/5.0

Tatte Bakery Pistachio croissant: I guess I've been craving pistachio recently. This pistachio croissant from Tatte in Cambridge is dusted with crushed pistachios and had a marzipan-like sweet almond paste lightly mixed inside. Quality texture - flaky crust with a soft airy, slightly elastic interior. 3.5/5.0

Tatun Crab King Crackers: I love seafood flavored snacks, which are always available in Asian supermarkets but sadly missing from our American grocery shelves. Tea Era Apple Seed Green Tea: Got to visit an old favorite with old friends on my last trip to the South Bay. Tea Era is a bubble tea shop on Castro in Mountain View that always has an expansive menu of uniquely-flavored beverages. I wasn't quite sure what to expect from the apple seed green tea, which is why I decided to purchase it. The Doughnut Project Hotteok Jeju Noodle Bar Donut: I got this donut exactly a week ago on the last day it was available from The Donut Project in the West Village (sorry for the delay in posting!). I had only ever had Hotteok once from a boxed mix from HMart, and not surprisingly, this donut interpretation from Korean ramen noodle shop Jeju Noodle Bar was much better. The dough had a great consistency, with a crisp griddled-like exterior and soft interior filled with a sweet crushed peanuts mix. Topped with a berry-jelly syrup and pistach... (read more) 3.5/5.0
