Green Valley Organics Blueberry Pomegranate Acai kefir: This lactose-free drink is on the sweet side (23g of sugar per serving) but also has a slight tartness and clean flavor. While the bottle indicated 4 servings, the drink was thick and filling enough that I easily got 6 servings worth. It reminds me a bit of a gogurt for adults: much thicker and using better quality ingredients. 3.5/5.0

Field Day organic Wildlife Friends vanilla cookies: These are the type of cookies I would buy for my (future) children. The cookies are larger than most, with cute animal shapes (especially the polar bear), and they are just sweet enough. A good, wholesome snack. 3.5/5.0

Abdallah vanilla cream caramels: Wanting to bring back a local confectionary, I walked through several terminals at MSP in Minnesota and came across this brand. I was sold by the golden Made in Minnesota seal as well as the non-chocolate options. Each piece is substantial and has a classic, buttery richness. As someone who loves caramel candies, I'm a fan. 3.5/5.0

Siggi's strawberry and rhubarb yogurt: Thick skyr-style yogurt that tastes slightly sweeter than other Siggi's I've had. Small bits of rhubarb are scattered throughout but don't contribute much to the flavor overall. Rich and filling, with a substantial amount of protein. Solid, but not one of the better Siggi's flavors. 3.5/5.0

Trader Joe's rolled oats and peanut butter fiberful granola bars: Like most fiber bars, all semblance of healthfulness is masked in candy-bar coatings. This one has a chocolate base, drizzled chocolate, and a chewy peanut butter and oats foundation. Don't get me wrong: I'm not complaining. This candy bar that just so happens to have 9g of fiber is a filling snack to get you through your post-lunch hunger pang. 3.5/5.0

Cheerios Multi-grain peanut butter Cheerios: On my last normcore grocery trip, I was tempted to purchase a childhood favorite: peanut butter cereal. A quick glance at the nutrition facts of Peanut Butter Crunch, though, made me think twice. Instead, I opted for the less colorful packaging of multi-grain Cheerios, which I assume is targeted towards adults like me (who enjoy junky sweetened cereal once in a while but also want to seem responsible and somewhat healthful). The cereal was actually really satisfying: it had a classic if unr... (read more) 3.5/5.0
