Found Watermelon Basil Sparkling Refreshment: Found is a beverage company claiming to create its own category of carbonated fruit drinks; according to its site, it is neither seltzer, soda or tonic, but a "naturally sparkling refreshment." Its marketing also claims that the carbonation exists naturally at its source. I'm not sure how much I buy into their story, but I do think the beverage itself is very good. Bear Strawberry Yo Yos: I purchased these fruit snacks from Boxed at work. Each pack consists of two mini-spirals of strawberry fruit leather, kind of like a thicker, better quality fruit roll up but packaged on its side. This type of snack is more for taste than anything else, as the portion size is not filling. But as far as fruit leather goes, it's pretty decent. 3.0/5.0

Nissin Coconut sable matcha cookies: Classic Asian sable cookies with a matcha twist. The wheat biscuits are sweetened with coconut milk and have a sugary glaze. Matcha powder seems to have been mixed in to the flour, rather than used as a coating (the cookies are not green). Contains individual serving packs of 5 crackers. Hwa Yuan Jenyowe Cuttlefish Crackers: From Taiwan, these seafood crackers are shaped like curled squid tentacles and have a vivid glazed orange color. They taste like a cross between shrimp crackers and fried calamari - definitely seafood flavored, but not easily pinpointed to a single type of underwater creature. Cost less than $2 for a bag at Hong Kong Supermarket in Manhattan's Chinatown. Not healthy, but tasty. 3.5/5.0

Wilklow Orchards Apple Cider Donuts: I bought some apples from the Green Market over the weekend and came across Wilklow Orchards apple cider donuts. Apple cider donuts are a seasonal dessert popular in the Northeast, especially at apple orchards. I've never actually had them before, so I was excited to try them, and at 60 cents each, they were wallet friendly. The donuts came in two offerings: coated in sugar, and without coating.
