I Mei Pudding Choco Roll: Individually wrapped chocolate covered wafer crisp filled with a soft pudding-flavored interior. Similar in some ways to a Twix without caramel and with a much flakier cookie element. Sweetness is spot on, with just 6g of sugar per piece. Pudding is pronounced but not overwhelming, filling melts in your mouth. An excellent sweet treat at a very reasonable price. Purchased from H Mart. 4.0/5.0

I-Mei almond choco wafer roll: Despite its name, these are flat wafers, rolled similarly to a flat crepe. The snacks come individually wrapped. Wafer exterior is thin and flaky, while chocolate interior is not overly sweet with a sprinkle of chopped almonds. Texture of the almonds doesn't quite carry through because of the crispness of the wafer. Overall, a pretty good snack. 3.5/5.0

Jennies coconut macaroons: What drew me to this snack was the old school packaging and very simple list of ingredients. The macaroons come in a cardboard "can" with no visible expiration date. Inside are very moist cookies that taste homemade. They are extremely sweet and definitely the type of snack your dentist would not approve of. But they are also very tasty, which I approve of. Kasugai's ramune flavored gummy candy: Surprisingly faithful to the original Japanese soda, even down to the teal blue color of the gummies. Definitely on the sweet side, but good in small quantities. If you are a fan of ramune, this candy will make you very happy. 3.5/5.0

Koreana Plaza Market Mochi: Inside the Koreana Plaza Market in Oakland is a small cash-only bakery with a variety of asian sweets, including lotus-paste-filled pastries (review forthcoming), pineapple buns, and almond cookies. I purchased a pack of two red-bean mochi (despite the oven-fresh sticker on the packaging, I'm pretty sure they were steamed). The mochi are about 125% the size of packaged mochi.
