Happy Lemon Mango matcha slush: Matcha and mango seemed like an unlikely pairing, but I decided to give it a try as it was marked as a Happy Lemon top pick on the menu. Because of the way the drink is made, it’s not possible to adjust the sweetness, which I was a bit worried about since I usually get my beverages at 25% sweetness when possible. While the drink was on the sweet side, it also had a delicious creaminess that mellowed out the flavor overall. A thick base of mango at the bottom ensures that there is a bit of fruit in every sip; the matcha is almost negligible, with little green tea bitterness. It could just be the light green color, but I tasted more pistachio than matcha. If you are looking for the distinct herbal flavor of matcha, you’ll probably be disappointed, but if you ignore that fact, you will still find a satisfyingly good drink. 3.5/5.0
