Sevan Walnut Baklava: To accompany my previously reviewed soda, I purchased a walnut-flavored pastry from Sevan Bakery in Watertown. I usually find baklava to be overly sweet, and this one did have a very distinct honey flavor, but the pastry was exceptionally crisp and flaky, and the chopped walnuts balanced the sweetness of the dessert. One of the best baklava I've had to date. 4.0/5.0

Seven Stars Farm low fat plain yogurt: Organic yogurt that had an acidic aftertaste and smooth, silky texture. Perfectly balanced with a bit of honey and fresh fruit. 3.5/5 3.5/5.0

Shake Shack ChickenShack: A Brooklyn-only, limited edition specialty, the New York-based burger chain pays homage to Southern fried chicken and does it successfully. The white meat fried chicken is remarkably moist, and the fried coating is lightly seasoned and spiced. Shake Shack salted caramel hot chocolate: On cold nights, there's nothing better than a cup of hot chocolate to keep you warm. This seasonal item at Shake Shack hits the spot, with a rich but not too sweet chocolate and caramel combo and slightly frothy top. Highly recommended. 4.0/5.0

Shake Shack black and white malted milk shake: A thick, rich milkshake made of high quality vanilla and chocolate ice cream. I love malted milkshakes, and the extra $0.50 for malted is definitely worth it. Needs to be paired with a tall glass of water. Definitely not for the faint of heart but a treat once in a while (it's about 1/3 of your daily calories). 4.0/5.0

Shake Shack Hanukoncrete: This special edition custard from the Shake Shack is available until December 14th and consists of vanilla custard, pieces of donut from The Doughnut Project, and a strawberry syrup, all topped with powdered sugar. The powdered sugar felt like an unnecessary flourish as the dessert was sweet enough without it, but the combination of donut, rich vanilla custard, and sharp and tangy strawberry was surprisingly delicious. The best part was definitely the vanilla custard, which was very smooth. 3.5/5.0
