Ahlgrens Bilar Original foam candy: A Swedish candy whose recipe has remained constant since its introduction in 1953, Ahlgrens Bilar consists of pastel-colored car-shaped candies with a texture similar to a stale marshmallow. Meller Caramel chocolate chews: Not-quite chewy caramel candies with a chocolate filling. Texturally comes closest to American Nips candies, but with a waxier texture and bite as if it had been sitting out a little too long. The sugary milk chocolate on the interior holds it shape when you bite into the caramel. Overall, passable as a mass manufactired candy - neither good nor bad, it meets expectations. Ruffles Sabor a jamon potato chips: Purchased from a vending machine at the Madrid airport duurng a layover, these ham-flavored potato chips look like regular Ruffles, with an invisible but potently salty seasoning. Texturally, the chips are just like any other Ruffles; ridged, crispy, and more thickly cut than Lay's. Cosmos Tteokbokki Rice Crackers: Korean spicy and sweet rice crackers shaped like rigatoni, with the exact opposite texture of the typically soft and chewy cylindrical rice cakes. Tastes of fermented gochujang chili paste, which is a staple in most Korean cooking so will taste familiar if you enjoy eating Korean stews. More sweet than savory but has a mildly spicy aftertaste. This is the second brand I've tried from HMart, and they seem pretty much interchangeable but both delicious. 4.0/5.0

Hwa Yuan Jenyowe Cuttlefish Crackers: From Taiwan, these seafood crackers are shaped like curled squid tentacles and have a vivid glazed orange color. They taste like a cross between shrimp crackers and fried calamari - definitely seafood flavored, but not easily pinpointed to a single type of underwater creature. Cost less than $2 for a bag at Hong Kong Supermarket in Manhattan's Chinatown. Not healthy, but tasty. 3.5/5.0
