Savoritz Ancient Grains sriracha crisps: This bag of crisps is from Aldi, the German supermarket chain, and contains thin brow-rice crackers with a variety of other grains such as quinoa and amaranth. Interestingly enough, the ingredients do not list the actual sriracha branded sauce but has its own seasoning blend. Nevertheless, they have a powerful spiced flavor that is also slightly sweet, just like you would expect from the chili sauce. I thought the flavor seemed a little strong, but I still found myself getting through the ba... (read more) 3.5/5.0

Goldfish flavor blasted xtra cheddar and pretzel: Airline food tends to be highly seasoned to make up for our decreased sensitivity to salt in pressurized and low humidity environments. On my last 6 hour flight, I found myself getting alarmingly hungry in the last hour. Giving in, I purchased the least expensive snack, a $2 bag of goldfish. I've sensed that goldfish had become saltier over the years and have avoided purchasing it for this reason. At this altitude, though, I found the snack to be not too bad, with a balanced mix of both flav... (read more) 3.0/5.0

Food Should Taste Good peppercorn blend brown rice crackers: After I gave the last box of brown rice crackers from FSTG a perfect 5.0, I was eager to try another flavor from the line. These peppercorn crackers are well balanced, a challenge with an ingredient as potent as peppercorns. Similar to the last I tried, the texture of the crackers was light and crunchy. However, overall I found this flavor to be less special and memorable than the red pepper chips. That isn't to say that these are bad by any means, but it's not a flavor that I see myself eve... Horizon cheddar sandwich crackers: Made with better ingredients than Ritz for sure, but honestly not that different in taste. On the salty side. Pricy for what it is. Not a filling snack like its peanut butter sandwich counterpart, which I previously reviewed. 2.5/5.0

Annie's Cheddar Snack Mix: Contains pretzels, cheddar bunny crackers, and buttery crackers. Mixed together, the buttery crackers don't taste much different than the cheddar crackers, which means there are essentially only two types in this mix: pretzels and cheese crackers. Technically, I suppose that's the least number you can have that still constitutes a \"mix,\" but I would argue this box lacks variety. Moreover, it gets pretty salty after a few handfuls. Not one of the better Annie's snacks. 2.5/5.0

Horizon Peanut Butter Sandwich crackers: Really nice quality peanut butter. The problem is that there is only a sliver of it about a millimeter thick in each sandwich. The filling to cracker ratio is off. Additionally, the crackers are seasoned so that the dominant taste after a few pieces is salt. Which is probably good for portion control, since only 12 of these crackers make up a serving. At least for me, this is not nearly enough to feel any level of satiation. Definitely made for kids with smaller appetites. 2.5/5.0
