The salted caramel contributes to the texture but it not seasoned as much as I would expect for a salted caramel. Sweet Sydney's Ginger Snap Cookies: Purchased from the premium snack vending machine at my work, this gluten-free cookie has a significant amount of spiced flavor and surprisingly moist texture. More chewy than crumbly, it's one of the best gluten-free cookies I've had. Though it is very sugary (31g in a cookie) the spices help balance it out. Made in San Francisco. 4.0/5.0

Loacker Blackcurrant Quadratini Wafer Cookies: Generally, I'm a fan of the Italian brand Loacker, which offers square snack-sized wafers in a variety of flavors. I found the blackcurrant flavor to be especially good because they are actually more tart than sweet. The wafers are crispy and thin, and because they are thick, they feel like a substantial snack despite the bite-size package. Definitely one of the best Loacker wafers I've had. 4.0/5.0

Newman's Own Mint Chocolate Newman O's Cookies: Since I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of Newman Own's ginger sandwich cremes, I decided to get an alternative flavor. The mint flavor is similarly good, with a prominent mint flavor and hearty chocolate cookies. I like leaving the bag open so that the cookies get a little softer and less crumbly. 3.5/5.0
