Real Coco Organic coconut water: I somehow managed to get the stomach flu, so to supplement a box of saltines, I purchased some electrolyte-rich beverages. The first was this carton of organic coconut water, which had a pleasantly neutral taste. It’s just sweet enough, and has a thirst quenching, clean flavor. Shribark Toasted Coconut Caramel Snack: Up to this point, I've avoided this brand of snack from the Media Lab Leanbox, fearing that it was another questionable health-food snack. Lacking alternatives, though, I decided to purchase the bar and was pleasantly surprised. The texture is very good, with a sweet caramel that binds together the granola and seeds that comprise the bar. It was very filling and leaned more towards the candy end of snack bars. Siggi's coconut yogurt: Icelandic skyr yogurt that's very thick and rich. This flavor was too savory for me-it seemed like it would work paired with other foods (a slightly sweet element in a savory dish or a savory element on a dessert). But on its own, I found the flavor to be kind of off-putting. Clearly made of quality ingredients, though. 2.5/5.0
