Balthazar Blueberry cheese danish: Purchased from Harney & Sons tea shop in SoHo, this blueberry cheese danish from Balthazar was a delicious sweet treat. Flaky pastry with sugar crystals surrounds a sweetened egg and cheese custard. Fresh blueberries at the center are bright and fresh. A nice dessert to eat alongside tea, or by itself. 4.0/5.0

Barbara's jalapeno cheese puffs: Crunchy corn "puffs" that are a little spicy and just a little funky (they contain a bit of blue cheese). I'm generally not a fan of blue cheese, but it works well here. Very addicting, with a robust cheddar flavor. A unique spin on a classic snack. 4.0/5.0

Barbara's White Cheddar Cheese Puffs: More airy than Cheetos, Barbara's Cheese Puffs have a very mild cheddar flavor that is one of the least distinctive I've had. As a result, they are among the least satisfying of this junk-food classic. If you're looking for a healthier version of cheese puffs, these may be the ones.
