Yes, the texture is thin, even for non-Greek yogurt, but it has a faint sweetness that you only find in almond-flavored foods, and its mellow creaminess is lifted by tangy pineapple. La Farine frangipane: Excellent pastry. Flaky crust topped with almonds. Inside is fluffy and light. Center has lightly sweetened almond paste. Some parts of the exterior are dark, but they're caramelized rather than burnt. Very sizable and filling for the price ($2.95). 4.5/5.0

Lazzaroni Amaretti di Saronno: Traditional almond flavored biscuits from Italy. These bite-sized cookies are crunchy and hard, the almond flavor is pronounced. A bit too sweet for my taste. 3.0/5.0

Luna & Larry's Coconut Bliss coconut almond in chocolate dessert: Haven't had a chocolate-covered ice cream bar in ages but my newly lactose-free dad was craving ice cream, and these coconut-based non-dairy bars were on sale at Whole Foods. Its dark chocolate coating is mixed with chopped almonds, and the whole product is organic. Overall, a really good quality product. Isn't overly rich (like a Haagen Dazs) but still decadent. Classic coconut + chocolate flavor combination. Would eat over most other ice cream bars, non dairy or otherwise. 4.0/5.0
