Pinkberry Passion fruit mango frozen yogurt: Pinkberry is one of the very few chains I return to because I’ve never had anything less than good there. At SFO before my one-way flight, I purchased their tropical passion fruit mango flavor, which had an intense passion fruitt flavor and light orange mango color. It worked perfectly well for breakfast - light and tart, with freshly cut fruit and surprisingly good chewy mochi bits. Pitango Gilato: I stumbled across this highly regarded gelato shop during my travels in DC and tried four different flavors (two of which I purchased). The star anise was barely sweetened and distinctive in flavor; the blood orange, while very refreshing, tasted more of raspberry than citrus (the sign said it contained a bit of raspberry). Pocky Demitasse: Stockier than your usual Pocky snack, these crackers are dark chocolate flavored biscuit covered in a generous layer of dark chocolate. The chocolate flavor is nice and bitter, and the snack feels substantial and rich despite its smaller size. Likely the best Pocky I've had. 4.0/5.0

Poland Spring raspberry lime sparkling water: Surprisingly good mainstream drink. Very clear fruit and citrus flavor that doesn't leave a salty aftertaste like a lot of seltzer. Affordable and widely available. Highly recommended. 4.0/5.0
