Trader Joe’s Watermelon Jerky: These compressed and dehydrated watermelon jerky strips are disorienting - they have a chewy texture reminiscent of Fruit Roll Up, yet maintain the fibrous quality of fresh watermelon as it lingers on your tongue. It instantly gets stuck in your teeth. But it does have a remarkable watermelon flavor - sweet and a little bit tangy. I enjoyed it but am not sure I’d purchase it again. Acme Valley Strawberry Ice Cream: This ice cream was available for free through a promotion at PCC, a PNW co-op that's kind of like a more expensive Whole Foods with local produce and products. Bin Bin Coconut Milk Flavor Rice Crackers: I grew up eating Bin Bin rice crackers, the classic kind containing individually wrapped packets of 2 peanut-shaped rice crackers coated with a sweet and savory MSG seasoning. Pirate's Booty Cheddar Blast: Have you ever eaten Pirate's Booty and thought that you'd like it more if only it were *more* cheesy? With 50% more real cheese, the new Cheddar Blast! Bucha Belly Lemon Ginger Organic Raw Kombucha: Bucha Belly is yet another Seattle based kombucha brand, offering subscription deliveries. I came across this brand at a local restaurant. Unfortunately, while the flavor was relatively clean, the ginger was lacking in potency, and it tasted mostly of lemon. Mighty-O Donuts Lavender Lemonade: Seattle vegan donut shop Might-O Donuts has a surprisingly large variety of housemade drinks, making it harder to choose which beverage to to get over a donut flavor. The lavender lemonade was initially refreshing floral, but the flavor didn't permeate through the entire cup (I maybe should have stirred it more), so after I got halfway through, it tasted a little diluted. But it was still interesting enough that I'd try other drinks the next time I go. 3.0/5.0
