365 Little Cubbies cereal: The Whole Foods equivalent to Lucky Charms, this cereal certainly tastes less artificial. The bear-shaped pieces (irregular and abstract) are coated with a glossy, slightly sweet glaze, and the pink and white marshmallow bits are reminiscent of what you might find in a hot cocoa mix. The texture of the marshmallows out-of-the-box is strange but mellows out in a bowl of milk. Overall, an okay cereal. 2.5/5.0

Cadbury Daim Dairy Milk Chocolate: I'm a big fan of Daim and Heath-like candy bars generally. This chocolate bar had a generous portion of crushed Daim, which added good texture. Unfortunately, similar to the Oreo bar, the milk chocolate itself was too sweet. Best to just stick with the Daim, which normally already had chocolate. 2.5/5.0

Beard Papa's matcha cream puff: The Japanese cream puff chain Beard Papa's has made it to Boston, with a shop in the heart of Chinatown. I purchased a green-tea flavored puff, which was flaky on the outside and soft on the inside. The puff oozed cream, but the flavor was very light. So light there was basically no discernible green tea flavor. The color is the only indication of its supposed flavoring. Overall, it was not bad for a cream puff, but disappointing as a matcha dessert. 2.5/5.0

Kettle Real Sliced Potatoes sea salt + vinegar potato chips: Like the bbq flavored chips I previously reviewed, these are similar in texture: thicker and crunchier than most. The problem with this bag is that the flavor is unevenly distributed, with some very tart mouthfuls and some barely seasoned. Not one of the better salt and vinegar chips I've had. 2.5/5.0
