Trader Joe's Mango O's cereal: Trader Joe's recently refreshed some of its usual product lines with seasonal mango-flavored versions. One example is their O's cereals, which otherwise comes in plain and honey renditions. This version has mango puree added to the oat O's as well as freeze dried cubes of mango. Overall, it's more tart than sweet and does have a distinct mango flavor. It's not something I would want to eat all the time, but it's not bad. 3.0/5.0

Mikawaya mango mochi ice cream: This brand claims to be the "original and best" Mochi ice cream. Whether it's true or not I cannot say, but the brand has permeated American supermarkets, with chains like Trader Joe's as stockists. It also seems to be the de facto choice for restaurants selling Mochi ice cream they don't make themselves. Luckily, the ice cream is very good. Trader Joe's sweet Sriracha uncured bacon jerky: This distinctive snack has a great crispy exterior and is sliced thin, so it's just chewy enough. The flavor is complex and surprisingly potent; more spicy than sweet, but well balanced. Unfortunately, it's very salty, but it's great in small doses. 4.0/5.0

Trader Joe's fig bites: : TJ's version of Fig Newtons is appreciably better, with a soft exterior (that isn't as crumbly as a Fig Newton) and a sweet fig filling The filling is less chewy than alternative fig bars and had a satisfying bite from the seeds. Overall, a very good snack. 4.0/5.0
