Morinaga Lemon Leafy Pie: Individually wrapped packs of two biscuits each, sized only slightly longer than a typical matchbox. The flaky biscuits inside have a lemon icing on one side only; the other exposes a glazed, crispy reminiscent of pie crust. The icing has a sweet but distinct sourness to it, great for fans of acidic treats that have a bit of an edge. Comes in a nice cardboard box that's perforated for easy serving and storing. 3.5/5.0

Fujiya Lemon Squash Soda: This is a classic lemon soda that can be purchased in Japanese vending machines. From what I understand, Fujiya is a food conglomerate that makes many popular, long-standing snacks and drinks. This lemon soda tastes a little bit like sprite but with a more pungent citrus flavor. It's definitely really sweet, but it's well carbonated and refreshing. I'd get it again! 3.5/5.0

The Penny Ice Creamery Lemon Poppy Seed Ice Cream with Blackberry Compote: Waited in line for about 20 minutes to enter this small ice cream shop in downtown Santa Cruz. Entire clientele was student-aged. They make all their ice cream in house, and they had some interesting flavors like celery and raisin sorbet (which I sampled but found did not taste as much of celery as I would like). I got a mini scoop of their lemon poppy seed ice cream with fresh made blackberry compote, which cost a little more than $4. You can tell from the texture of the ice cream that ... Morgenstern's Stingray Creamsicle: This is the best creamsicle I've ever had in my life. The vanilla ice cream contains bites of chewy lemon jam and is double dipped in both lemon and concord grape flavoring, giving it an impossibly smooth shell and layers-on-layers of flavor. The perfect combination of swert, creamy, tart, and fruity. Part of the limited edition #fuckthatsdelicious special at Morgenstern's in NYC. 5.0/5.0

Core Bar Lemon poppy seed overnight oat bar: A granola bar you purchase from the refrigerated section, this surprisingly fresh take falls somewhere between a traditional granola bar and a Power Bar in texture. Oats, dates, chia seeds, and almonds are loosely combined to form a chewy bar that eats more like a breakfast bar or cookie than a more dense bar like a Cliff Bar or Luna Bar. It also contains probiotics and 7g of fiber, along with 0 added sugar (it has 9g of natural sugar, which feels just right). The tart lemon flavor was al... (read more) 3.5/5.0

Sejoyia Lemon Zest Coco-Thins: These cookies are made with 7 ingredients: coconut, cashews, sugar, lemon oil, cassava flour, and salt. They have a unique texture - thin and crispy, but also dissolves in your mouth due to the high fat content (from the nuts and coconut). Good acidic flavor, though they smell better than they taste. Pretty unique overall - would give other cookies from this brand a try. Purchased at the Park Slope Food Coop. 3.0/5.0
