Naia Berry Collection Fruit Bars (Strawberry, Blackberry, and Raspberry Sorbetto): After having the excellent citrus collection fruit pops from Naia, I purchased a follow up set the next time I went grocery shopping at Ballard Market. While these berry flavors are more familiar, they are not at all ordinary. I loved getting to taste the texture of the seeds and was impressed by how accurately each captured the berries at their seasonal peak. The blackberry was my favorite, but all of them were entirely enjoyable and very well balanced - sweet treats that capture the tru... (read more) 4.5/5.0

Lipton Tea Ice Bubble Tea Ice Bars: I like seeing how American brands reinvent themselves abroad, offering products especially for foreign markets. I see Lipton tea bottled beverages sometimes in vending machines, for example, where as in the US, I only ever associate the brand with tea bags. Their black milk tea ice cream bars are miniature, about 2/3 the size of American fruit bars, and at 45 calories each, I don't feel bad having them. Plum organics Apple cinnamon and oatmeal Jammy Sammy sandwich bars: Square cereal bars sized for kids (they barely fit in my palm). Has an apple cinnamon flavored “jam” in the middle that’s sweet, but because of the size, it’s not overwhelmingly so. Decent and standard; probably wouldn’t purchase again because of the minuscule portion size. 3.0/5.0

Trader Joe’s Sweet & Salty granola bars: Chewy and flavor-heavy snack option combining almond butter and yogurt, along with grains and nuts. Barely a granola bar; more likely candy. Overly sweet for my palate. Surprisingly not so filling. 3.0/5.0

Nature’s Path Apple Pie Crunch granola bars: Crunchy healthful granola bar with a nice spiced apple flavor. Not very sweet, which I especially like. For a mid-day snack, this one is a budget-friendly keeper. 3.5/5.0
