Keki Modern Cakes Milk soft serve: When I went to Keki to try their cheesecake, they had a promotion where they were giving away free soft serve. Their only available flavor was milk, and while the texture of the softserve was good, it tasted very simply of rich whole milk. It’s not a flavor that develops in any way, and it was too rich for me, so I did something I’ve only done once before in the history of Tasty Snacking and threw it out. 1.0/5.0

Kellogg's Special K granola: the worst granola I've ever bought. Generic flavor. Took 3 months to finally get through it. 0.5/5.0

Kozy Shack Rice Pudding: After my good experience with carrot cake at the hospital, I ordered dessert again for lunch. This time, I ordered rice pudding only to find it was a pre-packaged Kozy Shack, which probably shouldn't have come as a surprise. Nonetheless, I think this may be the first time I've had Kozy Shack pudding, which I know is a lunchbox staple but wasn't in my household. The texture of the rice was very soft and gloopy, and the vanilla-flavored pudding was far too sweet. Would not eat again. 1.5/5.0

Kung Fu Tea honey lemonade with boba: This "less sweet" drink (at 30% sweetness) was unbalanced, with an unpleasant amount of acidity that built up over time. The real crime was the boba, though, which was so soft it was almost like chewing gum. No bite whatsoever. Quality control is not good in Chinatown. 1.0/5.0

Kutoa chocolate banana bar: This do-good company feeds a child in need for every bar sold. The bars have a dense texture and contain a substantial amount of protein (5g) and fiber (3g). It contains ingredients as varied as pea crisps, date paste, and brown rice, on top of the expected oats, chocolates, and bananas. To be honest, I was pretty revolted after my first bite, as it had a strange health-food flavor, but I quickly got used to it. Beyond that, though, I can't say much about the desirability of this imbalanced ... (read more) 2.0/5.0
