U-Cha Bomber Man milk tea with boba: After having a surprisingly good ginger milk tea last time I visited U-Cha in Berkeley, I decided to try one of their signature drinks, the Bomber Man milk tea. Way Better Snacks pumpkin cranberry tortilla chips: I found this out-of-season bag of chips heavily discounted at my local supermarket. The chips need...something. They are neither here nor there-not sweet enough or savory enough to be satisfying. I also find them very underseasoned, and I already prefer lightly seasoned food. Definitely begging to be eaten with some sort of dip, though what could complement this odd flavor combination is beyond me. The chips themselves have an unappetizing dark purple hue. Bottom line: Not a success. 1.5/5.0

Whole Foods organic mango greek yogurt: Very strange flavor that is reminiscent of cottage cheese. Watery for Greek yogurt. Only saving grace is the little cubes of mango throughout, which are good. Yogurt leaves an unpleasant aftertaste. 1.5/5.0

Whole Foods organic pineapple Greek yogurt: Like the mango flavor I previously reviewed, this yogurt suffers from a very strange, cheesy aftertaste. The premixed fruit and yogurt is watery upon opening, which makes me appreciate how other brands tend to separate the two. The pineapple chunks are so-so. Would not purchase again. 1.5/5.0

Wonderful Dessert and Cafe Grass jelly drink with boba: Wonderful Dessert and Cafe is a small shop lined with bulk candy bins. Counter for bubble tea in the back. Painted window signage declares that this shop has the "best tapioca in town." In actuality, it was one of the worst I've had from any establishment, with a mushy texture and no flavor. The herbal jelly tea was no better, with a medicinal metallic taste.
